A lot of exciting things have come together over the past few weeks. Here's a quick look at what's new: The Thunderbirds Will Play for the Jeeps on Saturday Night!The Fabulous Thunderbirds, one of America's most popular blues and Southern  rock bands, will headline a four-act Concert on Saturday, August 13th at the Festival. They are most known for their 1980s hits "Tuff Enuff" and "Wrap it Up". While they are famous for their energetic blues sounds, the group also successfully plays a variety of music styles. Original band member Kim Wilson sings lead vocals. Three other acts feature artists with Pittsburgh-region connections. The Billy Price Band has a loyal following of fans who love their blues sounds in Pittsburgh and throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. The Joe Zelek Band was selected by Clear Channel Radio as one of their "Artists to Watch" in January 2011. The band's debut single "Who You Gonna Run To" hit the national Billboard Mediabase charts last year. Opening the show is Butler-native Sydney Hutchko. Sydney has gained a loyal following in the Pittsburgh region and has recently been gaining exposure in Nashville. Lawn seating is included with Festival admission. You can be close to the stage by purchasing a Reserved Seat for an additional $10. Reserved seat tickets can be purchased at the Festival or get the best seats available by purchasing online now! Early Bird Pricing Ends This Month! If you're a procrasinator, don't let it cost you! Early bird pricing for participants ends on May 31st. Be sure to sign up for the participant package that works best for you. Nearly 600 Jeeps have signed-up already so don't miss the chance to be part of the event that has the Jeep community buzzing! The Canadians Are Coming! You have to see it to believe it! The Canadian Armed Forces will be at the Festival to demonstrate their Jeep tear down and rebuild. A team of maintainers at the Canadian CFB at Gagetown created this unique attraction to showcase the skills and knowledge of CFB Maintainers throughout the Canadian boarders. In less than 5 minutes, the troops tear down and rebuild piece-by-piece their Willys MB Jeep, impressing crowds of all sizes. The Jeep and crew have been showcased throughout their home nation and and around the world. You can see this incredible event during the Parade and at multiple times at the Fairgrounds. About the Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival The Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival is organized by the Butler County Tourism & Convention Bureau and a group of committed volunteers and Jeep enthusiasts who want to create a signature annual event celebrating Butler, Pa.'s role as the birthplace of the jeep. The Festival will take place in Downtown Butler and at the Butler County Fairgrounds along Route 422, just west of Butler. Our goal is to create a premier annual event that attracts Jeep enthusiasts from all over the Mid-Atlantic region.
